Nestled in the sacred land of Sri Mayapur, the Mayapur Institute is dedicated to sharing the timeless teachings of Gaudiya Vaishnava scriptures.
Since its beginning in 2000, the Institute has become a place where students from all over the world come together to study, reflect, and grow in devotion under the guidance of Srila Prabhupada’s books.

Our Mission
1. Provide an opportunity to humanity to systematically study Srila Prabhupada's books.
2. Re-establish Mayapur as the topmost place in the world for learning Gaudiya Vaisnava philosophy and culture.
3. Provide knowledge of Gaudiya Vaisnava scriptures to students strictly and faithfully in accordance with the books and teachings of Srila Prabhupada.
4. Build a pool of highly knowledgeable and qualified intellectuals on Gaudiya Vaisnava philosophy and culture to preach to scientists, educators, engineers, technologists, researchers, etc.
5. Promote research in Gaudiya Vaisnava philosophy & culture.
6. Enable students to get a better and deeper understanding of the Gaudiya Vaisnava philosophy and sharpen their sastric knowledge and preaching skills.
7. Train devotees to take up responsibilities as teachers, preachers, or leaders.
8. Help build and maintain students’ faith and conviction in the process of bhakti yoga and in the scriptures.
9. Equip students with the ability to see through the eyes of sastra. Ultimately, help students realize scripture and see Krsna at all times and in all places.
Values
We strongly believe that the institute was setup, has been growing and will continue to grow in future by the mercy and blessings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and his successor acaryas in parampara.
Our principal core value is faithfulness to Srila Prabhupada books and teachings. Keeping in mind that the service of imparting sastric education is brahminical in nature, the institute does not charge any fees to students but recovers only service charges to barely cover all administrative office expenses such as photocopying, student handbooks, classroom rent and electricity, telephone bills, staff maintenance, etc.
Also, many of our faculty members do not take any maintenance. The Mayapur Institute believes in and functions with full transparency in all its dealings with students, faculty, staff, donors and the management.
